Diploma in Physiotherapy-

The two-year Diploma in Physiotherapy (DPT) program provides training to students about treating people who experience physical disabilities or have sustained injuries. The curriculum consists of academic studies together with hands-on training sessions. 

Eligibility 

• Pass 10+2 with science subjects and a minimum percentage of around 45–50%
• Students need to study Physics Chemistry and Biology when they pursue their undergraduate studies.
• Course content Anatomy and physiology, Pathology, Microbiology and pharmacology, Basic exercise electrotherapy, and Rehabilitation techniques. 

Career opportunities 

• The profession exists in settings such as hospitals, clinics, sports facilities and rehabilitation centers.
• Provide home care services
• Pursue higher studies in physiotherapy

Career as a physiotherapist 

• Therapists need to assess physical conditions while evaluating patients' mobility problems.
• Physiotherapists must identify treatment-related conditions that involve musculoskeletal structures along with neurological deficits or postural disorders.
• Create treatment plans
• Physiotherapists deliver hands-on treatments while designing exercises and selecting methods between electrotherapy and hydrotherapy.
• Monitor patient progress
• Promote preventive care
